Heather Campbell Chaney

Environmental fellowship

Heather Campbell Chaney believed deeply in the mission of Catamount Institute— education, leadership and research programs that promote land conservation and inspire ecological stewardship. Heather was especially passionate about environmental education programs for underserved youth. When Catamount was only in its infancy, Heather advocated for programs such as the award-winning Young Environmental Stewards (YES) Program, a unique partnership with the Urban League of the Pikes Peak Region. Today, the YES Program is the cornerstone of Catamount Institute’s educational programs and is an acclaimed contribution to our community. The Fellowship honors Heather’s passion and mission in life. Heather’s legacy is making a positive difference in the lives of children as they become stewards of the natural world.

The Heather Campbell Chaney Environmental Fellowship fund is held at the Pikes Peak Community Foundation and donation can be made directly & securely online.
