KEEPERS OF THE WATER


A site based field-trip for students to participate in water ecology experiments that promote an understanding of water conservation and aquatics science. 

Spring 2011 Keepers of the Water Field Trips are now available for booking!  Reservations are available on a first come-first served basis.  Price is $2.50 per student per hour.

  Catamount Institute's, Keepers of the Water program, originated by Colorado Springs Utilities, is designed to help students learn about the planet’s most valuable resource. This interactive and rewarding two-hour field trip program promotes an enriched understanding of water conservation and ecology.  Students are guided through a series of science activities that demonstrate how water can be both positively and negatively affected by people.

Reservations are required 3 weeks before field trip.

Cost is $2.50 per student per hour.
Visiting/In-School Field Trip Program Fee $58/trip
$1.10/mile to location travel fee (visiting/in-school field trips)
Minimum 10 Students
