Catamount Institute Mountain Campus Camps
After years of exploring how to expand our camp offerings to connect even more kids outdoors, we are thrilled to announce we will be offering additional camps for summer 2025, at a new location just outside of Woodland Park!
What is the Catamount Institute Mountain Campus?
Catamount Institute’s long-standing partner and sister organization, the Catamount Center, was home to Colorado College’s TREE Semester for many years. Located at 10,000 feet in elevation, this stunning, private montane paradise—once a YMCA camp—is an ideal setting for outdoor learning and adventure. Spanning approximately 130 acres, the Mountain Campus features trails, lakes, forests, and open fields, along with the infrastructure needed to safely and comfortably host youth groups of all ages. In the past, we’ve brought summer camp groups here for fishing and camping, and we are beyond grateful to now offer full programs at this incredible site.

2025 Catamount Institute Mountain Campus Camps
2025 Scholarship Application: This year, we have changed our scholarship application system! If you are interested in applying for a scholarship for your camper, please fill out the scholarship form by clicking the “Scholarship Information” button just below. There will be several saved scholarship spots per camp, so you will no longer need to register pre-emptively! We will notify you of the result, and if accepted, directly send you a registration link. Partial or full scholarships will be approved based on need. Please reach out if you have any questions!
