We have worked hard to create great partnerships across our region. Trips to these locations will vary in cost but we will work with you to create an exciting experience for your students and enhance your classroom learning.

Mueller State Park

Spend the day with your students in the mountains just west of Colorado Springs. Catamount Institute partners with Colorado Parks and Wildlife to host field trips at Muller State Park. The educators and volunteers at Catamount Institute work directly with the rangers of the park to create a program your students will not soon forget.

Additional Travel Fee – $110

Monument Creek – Monument Valley Park

Study water field trips in the creek that runs through the length of Colorado Springs. T  Our Keepers of the Water field trip is a perfect option for this location.  Clothes that can get wet and muddy are required. Field trips limited to 2-12 grades.

Additional Travel Fee – $20

Aspen Valley Ranch – Woodland Park

Aspen Valley Ranch is a beautiful mountain community & event site near Woodland Park. With access to  montane, prairie and aquatic ecosystems, this is a wonderful site for a day in the Pikes Peak massif.  Local wildlife, including elk, deer, and turkey. Which makes for an excellent animal signs, and ecosystems study trip.
