Strategic Plan

 In early 2025, Catamount Institute engaged in a strategic planning process to guide its work over the next three years. During planning, the organization revisited its mission and created a vision statement and values. These core principles, along with Catamount Institute’s 20+ years of proven success, form the foundation of this plan.

The plan has three primary focuses, all geared towards long-term sustainability and success. The plan’s goals will help Catamount Institute shore up and strengthen its infrastructure and programming. The organization will also work to build long-term financial sustainability. Finally, the plan lays the groundwork for an exciting new initiative, the launch of the Catamount Institute
Mountain Campus in Woodland Park, CO, a 145-acre mountain campus that will serve as a dynamic new hub to further advance environmental education in the Pikes Peak region and connect more
kids to the outdoors.
