The Venetucci Pumpkin Giveaway!
The late, great Nick “The Pumpkin Man” & his wife Bambi Venetucci began giving pumpkins away to local youth in the 1960s. Now seven decades later, Catamount Institute ensures this tradition stays alive by providing **FREE** pumpkins to students along with an outdoor education experience at Venetucci Farm.
Each October, our staff and volunteers ensure over 1,000 kindergarten students have the same chance their parents and grandparents had to experience Nick and Bambi’s legacy at the farm, receiving a free pumpkin while learning the science of how plants grow – all at no cost to their schools and families.
