The greatest gift you can give
At every level, your donation supports our mission to connect kids to the great outdoors. Our donors are diverse and their reasons for giving vary. Their combined generosity and philanthropy build the engine that drives Catamount Institute’s future. Our greatest need are funds to support schools that serve at-risk youth and young people who are experiencing poverty.
Our goal: to never say no to a child who wants to be outdoors.

Provides healthy snacks for an after school program. So kids aren't hungry when they are trying to learn.

Provides a local youth with their first outdoor experience. Hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, etc.

Helps a local teacher bring their students to Catamount Institute for a field trip.

Matching gifts
Many companies have matching gift programs that will match charitable contributions given by their employees. Contact your HR department for the appropriate forms and forward them with your gift.
Payroll deductions
Many businesses allow employees to set up charitable payroll deductions through the United Way, Bevenity, or another workplace giving program.
Gifts in kind
We welcome donations of goods for our programs, as well as items and services to be auctioned at our annual fundraising event. Please call us at 719-471-0910 x106 to arrange a gift.
Equipment sales
Take your gently used outdoor equipment to Mountain Equipment Recyclers and tell them to consign your items for the Catamount Institute.

King Soopers Community Rewards makes fund-raising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do everyday. Once you link your card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at King Soopers.

These types of gifts and other appreciated assets can supply critical operating dollars to support programs and projects that make a huge difference in a child's life. Donate a car
Donate your vehicle to Catamount Institute. Search for "Catamount Institute" and complete the form. Vehicles for Charity will pick up your vehicle for free and send Catamount Institute a check for the proceeds.
