To us our staff are more then just educators, or someone in a fleece taking kids on a hike in the woods. We employ change agents who are changing the way kids view the world. Changing how kids see themselves. As part of our time you can contribute to the next generation of environmental leaders who need the skills and knowledge to take on 21st century environmental challenges.

Each summer, we often take on three seasonal Summer Environmental Educator staff that join our permenant educators on our summer camps. *We open up online portals for seasonal applications in the winter*. See brief descriptions of our summer seasonal positions below:
- A GenWild Pathway Intern (for 16-19 year olds from Southeast Colorado Springs).
- A Colorado College Public Interest Fellow (must be a CC student and apply through the CC PIFP program).
- A Heather Campbell Chaney Fellow, for individuals ideally with natural career experience relating to our field and posess further Environmental Education aspriations. This position is in honor of Heather Campbell Chaney, local environmentalist and educator, created and funded by Heather’s family.
Other positions within our organization open up when we grow or if we have a departure from our team.
We also take on EECorps service members through a partnrship with the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education and the Americorps organization. EECorps recruitment and placements periods vary each year, and the positions must be applied for through CAEE EECorps site.

Full-time, Year-Round Environmental Educator
We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a commitment to excellence, is detail oriented, is adaptable, and a passion for connecting kids to the outdoors and youth development. Must have experience in education and ability to work with a high functioning team. Lastly, we are a fast-paced, dynamic, progressive, and innovative team committed to growth and challenging the status quo looking for just the right fit. Americorps Environmental Educator half-year
Led by the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education (CAEE), the Environmental Education Corps (eeCorps) AmeriCorps Program places AmeriCorps members at organizations throughout Colorado to focus on increasing environmental literacy for PreK-12 students and implementing the goals outlined in the Colorado Environmental Education Plan. eeCorps works directly with teachers, schools, and environmental education providers to support them in expanding the reach and increasing the impact of EE programming, while providing access to equitable learning experiences for all PreK-12 students. eeCorps members provide direct service to improve outcomes in Environmental Stewardship and Education. AmeriCorps provides opportunities to improve lives and foster civic engagement all across the country.
Executive Director
We are looking for the next leader of the organization! This dynamic leader will be responsible for the efficient administration of day-to-day organizational operations, budgetary and fiscal matters, organizational development and fundraising, board development and relations, as well as hiring, training, guiding, and evaluating core staff.
Office and finance Manager
We are looking for an individual who is detail oriented with a passion for connecting kids to the outdoors and youth development. Must have experience in accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, customer service, program registration, scholarship administration and office management. Lastly, we are a fast-paced, dynamic, progressive, and innovative team committed to growth and challenging the status quo looking for just the right fit. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The salary range is $25-$28 per hour. We offer a flexible working schedule, vacation and sick time, retirement plan and health insurance stipend for qualifying staff. As well as our offices are located at the beautiful Sondermann Park with hiking and biking trails.

Operations manager
We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a commitment to excellence, is detail oriented, has excellent follow through, and a passion for connecting kids to the outdoors and youth development. Must have experience in supervising a team or group of people with 2 years of manager /leadership experience. Lastly, we are a fast-paced, dynamic, progressive, and innovative team committed to growth and challenging the status quo looking for just the right fit. This is a full-time position. We offer a flexible working schedule, vacation and sick time, retirement plan and health insurance stipend for qualifying staff. YES Club Club Educators
We will pay YOU to teach an afterschool club at an elementary school. You might be a teacher at a school, parent, or community member who wants to provide outdoor education to local youth.
