The Kindergarten and First grade OUTSIDE classroom will take the students outdoors to enhance in school and at-home learning. Each day students will investigate the natural world using their senses. Experience hands-on science classes 2 hours once a week for 8-weeks!

Our youngest learners explore the outdoors
The Kindergarten and First grade OUTSIDE classroom will take the students outdoors to enhance their learning. Each day students will investigate the natural world using their senses. Lessons will include shadow investigations, dandelion dissection, animal hibernation, and a snow lab.

Yes. All students and staff are required to wear a mask. Participants should wear face coverings over their nose and mouth at pick-up, drop-off, during breaks from playing, sitting in a group activity,and whenever they are not exercising or unable to maintain social distancing.
Yes. There will be plenty of opportunity for students to remove their mask while they are socially distant from other students and staff. Students will also remove them while being active which we hope will be the majority of the time.
Children should wear shoes and clothing that they can be active outdoors. We do have a creek so expect students might get wet and muddy. Please pack a day pack with a water bottle, rain jacket, and change of socks.
