The high alpine, snow, mountain goats, rainbows, and more! YES Club is warmly welcoming one of Colorado’s most visited features, the mountains!
Purple Mountain Majesty
This semester, 4th and 5th-grade students will engage in hands-on exploration of one of Colorado’s main ecosystems: the mountains. Over 11-13 weeks, YES club members will build relationships with their peers while they learn and go on field trips! With weekly lessons focused on a topic related to mountain ecology, students will learn everything about mountain ecosystems: from exploring all sides of mountain goat adaptations to the physics of a snow ball!
